A story hinged on nostalgia and the rituals of growing up, HOME follows a girl as she returns to collect the last belongings from her childhood home. This film uses a mixture of live action and 2D animation to capture the passing of childhood, but also hope for what lies ahead. Made during my first year at CalArts, HOME is a reflection of my separation from home and stands as a time capsule for the emotions of my early twenties.
